Me and my friends went to Makati & found out that they've renovated the place. The interior improved so much & in addition to that, they have added an enclosed air conditioned area which looked like a typical all American diner.
I've always loved Rufo's Special Tapa and thinking about it never makes me fail not to salivate like crazy! Everyone would crave and order their house specialty at any time of the day. Who wouldn't want to eat that tender slice of Batangas beef with garlic fried rice and sunny side-up egg? And that special Famous sauce which gives it that extra deliciousness that makes Rufo's tapa so popular and the best among the rest!
Its sauce is very Filipino. Just the right combination of sweet & salty and at the same time it compliments the taste of the beef. In fact, their Special sauce has become very popular, the restaurant uses it at its tag line: "Sauce pa lang, ulam na." Although I must say, their portion has become smaller over the years but it still has that same delightful taste Filipinos have been coming back for more!
